Leeson House is rich in history and is owned and operated by Joan and Murray Haughian. Murray's great grandparents ordered the home from the Eatons catalogue and constructed it in 1917. The Leeson House, as it was known at that time, was located on a farm, 9 miles west southeast of Unity. The house was moved into Unity in 1946 and was occupied by several different owners and was even the town's police barracks for a while, complete with bomb shelter. When the house went up for sale in 1991, The Haughians couldn't resist. Once again the house was  "back in the family". In 1998 they decided to convert their special home into a  Bed & Breakfast. Family members suggested calling it "Leeson House", where it had all started more than 80 years ago.
